Carey Potts?

Just finished studying for my final tomorrow morning and stumbled on her on youtube:

http://www.youtube.com/user/CareyPotts

Get this,

she’s completed all/most of the beachbody programs and then some… (Just look at her body.) And she’s making a series called “P90x2 Bootcamp” -which consists of  free workout videos which help to prepare for the release of p90x2… And she has a workout for each day!!!

What a sweetheart, for doing all of these at no cost! She also has a sign-up site, to link you to her videos which are all full-length, no frills, breaks of the whole workout. Sort of like zuzana/ bodyrock.tv vids.

I just signed up for it, and I’m curious to try it out.

I am soo tired. Going to catch some zzz’s.

Cardio Day 2

Insanity Max Interval Circuit

I admit, after a week of being on/off with insanity its harder to keep up with month 2 workouts, but it hurts so gooooood. An hour of torture, bring the pain and sweat ;)

Drinking my protein shake, I think I’m going to make some korean seaweed soup tonight since its getting wayyy to chilly over here. My joints hurts so much not just from insanity but from biking in the damn cold! My house is like a mile away from campus which isnt too bad but the wind makes it longer. Sigh. Night classes suck ass.

day 38

I love starting a new week with insanity from a crap weekend.

Not exactly crappy but just stressed out from a lot of shit going on in my life, mainly financial, school and a relationship problem. As weird/vague as that sounds. There’s a lot of self-reflection that I need right now. I time to myself, where I can’t be focused on trivial matters and just get to my goals and hold out as long as I can with the things I can.

Anyways, insanity has been good to me so far. I don’t know if thats a good or bad thing. I guess the second week of month 2 isn’t all that bad. I hate the length but it still nonetheless goes by quick.

Definitely, nutrition is key though. rrrrghhhh. Theres a tub of halloween candy my roommates bought teasing me in the kitchen. But actually, my cravings for sugary processed things are nearly gone. I actually experience sugar crash symptoms now.

Gotta go to classss! Might post up prog pics by the end of this week.

HALLOWEEN IS NEXT WEEK OMFGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.

WEEK 4 here i come!!

So i came home this weekend to visit a friends housewarming party and also another bday dinner.

After 3 hours of bumper-to-bumper traffic, I finally arrived to see my annoying ass younger brother outside. First thing he says is “dude you got smalller.”

…AND WHAT.?!

The fruit of my labor…all that sweat and screaming

ALMOST THERE. one more week and then we go craycrayy mode.

NEW LOW CARB/FAT HIGH PROTEIN SNACK ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
dried filefish (jeepuh) is a popular Korean snack that is usually eaten as an accompaniment to drinks (kind of like bar nuts) and I’ve been eating it for a long time (since I was kid) until I read up its nutritional information!
Get this:
60-90 calories per serving
1-2 grams of fat and carbs
15-19 grams of PROTEIN PER SERVING
AND ITS SOOOOOOO YUMMY!
its basically like a fish “jerky” ? Flattened, dried, sometimes seasoned filefish.
It’s sweet and chewy and really good for suppressing appetite.
You just torch on the stovetop for a good 20 seconds (don’t char it too much but I like the crispy ends anyways hehe) and cut it into bite-size pieces!

WEEK 1
Here are my crappy before and after pics, I’ll take it more accurately next time!
This is the JM hybrid: 30 days doubling 6 week six pack and Ripped in 30! Done for 28-30 days without rest! I’ve been eating clean and also taking kickboxing classes for an hour twice a week (pm)! I feel so much tighter and less jiggly. My core is definitely stronger, most of all. This program has been great so far, its been challenging, fun and not too short. (Because I do them back to back)
Also, I think I need to step up on fully juicing a couple times this week.
